FATIGUE

IN AN EVENING FATIGUE

a motion escapes

like an ember

red hot and smokeless

that glow fading

to red from white

the single light 

before darkness

touch a be burnt

breath and relight

listening to that smoking

the evidence and an escape

and the from the ember 

motion before darkness

breath and touch

and inhale the smoking evidence

of the escape

a dancing light

 a glowing touch

a glow moving

from red to white

before the darkness

evading sound

a glow 

a light

an escape

a motion

an ember

the only light

smokeless

against the darkness

to touch and relight

with breath

finding evidence

that is the sound 

before darkness

spread as a vision

noticed

the embers dance
