1
solice before solstice
November and autumn chill
breeze is now cold wind
2
fair sky and dry eye
different in summer and fall
hallow is the winter
3
new season finds auld
upon its arrival cold
shines still the sun's smile
4
follow night we feel
and follow day should now know
severed known from felt
5
close approaches solstice
solice is farther, colder now
waiting, felt knowing
6
different in summer and fall
eye waters in cold felling
when knowledge does end
7
auld season fells new
arrival knows the missing known
fall breeze is the felt
8
chill can be the known
different in summer and fall
hallow is the winter
