rain
"Rain" 2004 Al Mendoza
what fun there is
when light appears
and drops becomes
blots with lots
of nothing to see.
and knowing rainbow hope
still into the rain we look
finding glimmers in the movement
within the storm watching none move
still are they who see.
moving waters
cascading shimmers
settle anywhere that welcomes
no beckoning required
filling to overflow, everything open
to rain.
