To Be or Not To Be - a question about survival

To Be or Not To Be - a question about survival

While no one seems to notice with all the election and faux news, war and much nonsense screaming for our attention, China has been building trade alliances, buying resources through its state owned corporations and securing everything it requires - without firing a single shot.

It is the velvet fist of political philosophy applied, be ridiculously powerful and offer trade relations instead of war. The political economy discussions of whether China is #socialist , #capitalist , #religious or #statist are are not even discussed as they are here during this election. That is because #government is an amoral instrument and such discussions are of no value to the use and purposes of #state #power.

China makes no claims to a moral standard and rejects, suppresses  or minimises any #religious #moral #authority. China is all about the state and the use of #state-power.
The issue of the individual is only relevant to the individual. The state as an amoral creature has no stake in such as it operates. This is the very thing individuals must take warning about, are they or are they not in existence as entities superior to the state.

The issue is, what does a command economy in the statist form of China have in store for us?
This question has not been lost to the power brokers who see the "next smart bet" coming up on the horizon, the corporate state as illustrated by China's success'.

This completely backwards arrangement, the diminishing of the individual both here and in our neighbor Canada is becoming a pattern. As individual rights are only dreams in our neighboring Mexico and most of Central and South America, it would seem that the entire continent is slowing drifting towards the loss of the individual as nothing more than the instrument of the all encompassing state.

The thing about velvet is how easily it will tear. The seduction is, in huge part, like so many other times, an illusion. It's a carnival trick of misdirection and loud music. It's a sleight of hand.

Who is this wizard behind the curtain, this disembodied voice? It's us.
We have become an enemy to ourselves. We are the question to our own survival, "how are we to."
"To be or not to be," is the question for ourselves if we are to survive.
