October's Balm
gently a sweet balm
whispering a cobalt breeze
a balm October
layered coal so still
rising shadow to autumn
touching as a whiff
as clouds become smoke
cyan fading curtain like
edging out sunlight
cotton like furling
as the water coloured sky
washes in light stokes
in airily tints
the gloss of the reflected
of evening autumn
October balm soothes
brushing a face, heart and soul
sunset breeze Tontine
