Whispers and Shadows
whispers and shadows
afraid to sleep in the dark
October's music
the joyous search
afraid to sleep in the dark
conflict-ions abound
every whisper
like shadows slinking away
the tensions surrounds
there is no picture
like the one never painted
a vesper unseen
shadows and whispers
under evening gray shades
a night overcast
ventriloquism
from a place to what is seen
a gauze a shadow
direct from a sound
covering and darkening
a breeze a whisper
the unseen music
hinting a shade of evening
touches like a kiss

gently a sweet balm
whispering a cobalt breeze
a balm October
layered coal so still
rising shadow to autumn
touching as a whiff
as clouds become smoke

the gloss of the reflected
