An old tale of the donkey and the merchant
There was a merchant on his way to market with his donkey loaded with goods when his enemy attacked him and after the fight the merchant says, "why didn't you help me? you too could have been taken".
The donkey replies," It doesn't matter to me since I still have to carry the load anyway".
