THE LOST SANITY OF PAIN
can you sharpen paper mache'
and get a paper cut
converting a doughy newsprint
to sharp edged blade
and slice though with a pinata
who's cartoon existence
awaits destruction
the lost sanity of pain
clicking the mechanical pencil
not knowing where the paper is
the insanity of pleasure
paper mache' that can't use paint
when lead is all there is
a glue for emotion
where no water color will stick
bleeding color blends away
in a pool
where does the hurt
find the paint
to wash away
the bleeding
a water color on glass
pooling
ignoring the shapes
of paper mache'
that the pencil can't write on
to find the insanity of pleasure
dripping
the lost sanity of pain
on unglued paper
doesn't pool
like water color on glass
where the hurt finds
the point
